We are CCE of Suffolk – We have been here for you, your neighbors, and your families since 1917. 

CCE-Suffolk serves Suffolk County through our agriculture, marine, community education, and 4-H youth development programs. We are educators, researchers, specialists, and volunteers dedicated to our mission of preserving our county's vast heritage, protecting our eco-systems, supporting families, and providing our youth opportunities for community service and research-based education in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) To accomplish our mission, we collaborate with researchers, all levels of government, Cornell University, non-profits, and community groups to bring innovative programs and services to Suffolk County. Regardless of who you are and whatever you do, chances are that CCE of Suffolk has a program for you.

Berkshire Lake Arts Camp provides top-tier dance, theater and visual arts instruction, plus all the magic of traditional camp for girls ages 7-15.

Echo Hill Camp on the Chesapeake Bay offers a unique free-choice program where children chart their own adventure, and every day brings new possibilities. Set against the backdrop of the stunning Chesapeake Bay, campers master favorites like sailing and water skiing and build essential life skills while being guided by exceptional counselors who truly understand today's youth.

Hillstreet Boxing: Come down for your first class for free and see what we are all about. All skill levels are welcome!

This program is offered as a week-long session for 3rd-6th grade students.
Sessions run from July 8th-12th and August 5th-9th from 2:00pm-4:30pm which includes free museum play.

SUMMER CAMP! AQUARIUM-STYLE

Located on the Peconic Bay, our program promotes sailing, seamanship, and sportsmanship. Our options for your young sailors include a full “season pass” of sailing all summer or two, three, or four-week programs to fit into busy summer schedules.

 Please start the process here if you want to apply for membership or register your child for our weekly programs. 

Applications from the parent or guardian of your youth sailors or those applying as adults will be reviewed, and our Commodore will contact you to review our offerings.  Once your application is approved you will receive a welcome email with registration instructions.  A Family Membership is required for children ages 7 to 18 to take Full Season sailing lessons. MYC welcomes families, adults and couples and has sailing instruction for ages 5 and up.

THE PATH TO TAKE THE STAGE

Our music programs for kids in Riverhead are designed to get students on stage performing, with the goal of building strong musical proficiency. Younger students at School of Rock Riverhead who have participated in the Rookies program can move to our Rock 101 music program once they’re ready. Additionally, students (typically ages 8 to 13-years-old) can begin Rock 101 without any prior experience. The goal of this rock program is to quickly develop a basic competence on students’ chosen instruments before moving on to our famous Performance Program.
