The North Fork offers several Mother's Day events, including wine festivals, brunch specials, and unique experiences like flower arranging, live music, and wine workshops.

 


Here is a list of some places to go to celebrate Mother’s Day on the North Fork!


Harbes Vineyard

Mother's Day Festival: Wine tastings and a concession stand are available. Their annual Mother's Day Festival features wine tastings, live music, and a Barnyard Adventure with free admission for moms. 

 

East Wind- Mother's Day Celebration: A full gourmet buffet is offered.   

 

Sparkling Pointe- Mother's Day Bubbles & Brunch: Enjoy a brunch with a flight of sparkling wines and flower arranging. A special brunch with a sweet and savory menu by Southold General, paired with sparkling wines, and a flower arranging workshop.   

The Pridwin- Mother's Day Weekend Wine Dinner: A special wine dinner is held. 

 

Macari Vineyards- Offers a Mother's Day special ....... Lobster rolls, rosé, and dessert? Sounds like a party. Celebrate Mom with a feast that’ll also have you craving an early summer at Macari Vineyards. The North Fork institution has partnered with The Catered Fork and The Treater. Guests can toast to mom with a half-glass or Macari’s sparkling rosé and its new release, the 2023 rosé. They pair perfectly alongside The Catered Fork’s lobster roll (served with French fries). The Treatery will provide dessert. Tickets cost $65 for the event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations can be made online

 

Grace & Grit- Hosts cocktail and small bites on May 10 and 11. 

 

Sannino Vineyard- Features a Cherry Blossom Rosé Soirée.   

 

Pindar Vineyard: Offers a Sea Glass Wine Charm Workshop.   

 

Long Ireland Beer Co.- Hosts a Mother's Day Beer & Cupcake Pairing.   

 

The SuffolkJoin them for a Mother's Day Mamma Mia Brunch! Starting at 11 a.m., this unique event in Riverhead features a brunch followed by a screening of the 2008 film Mamma Mia, starring Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried, kicking off at noon. Enjoy a delightful buffet-style continental breakfast that includes scrambled eggs, quiche, pancakes, fresh fruit salad, and croissants before the movie begins.   

 

North Fork Table & Inn - Pamper mom with a farm-to-table brunch at this restaurant, a pioneer in the farm-to-table movement. The Mother's Day menu showcases local ingredients featuring dishes like eggs Benedict with KK’s lettuces and the freshest Montauk sea bream. Indulge in a spread of pastries, a raw bar, and seasonal fruits in a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, complete with cushioned seating and wooden tables without linens.

 

Little Fish- Treat all moms to a complimentary glass of wine with a variety of appetizers, including ceviche, Caesar salad topped with crispy croissant croutons, and spicy tuna tartare taquitos. Main courses feature blackened fish tacos, avocado toast, croissant grilled chicken sandwiches, lobster Benedict, crispy French toast, and more throughout the day.

 

Long Island Aquarium- Celebrate all the times mom read you Dr. Seuss with a nautical-themed brunch at the Long Island Aquarium. The annual Mother’s Day brunch offers seatings at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., featuring bagels, a ham carving station, and made-to-order omelets. Don’t miss the dessert station filled with puddings, cookies, brownies, cakes, and Jell-O. Although there are no baby seals this year, you can visit Mama Daisy, who delighted visitors after giving birth a few years ago.   

 

Ram’s Head Inn- Experience a unique Mother’s Day celebration with "In the Kitchen with Mothers and Others." Sample recipes from Les Dames d’Escoffier’s cookbook, Stirring the Pot, with live demonstrations by chef and “Chopped” champion Silvia Baldini, cocktail expert and magazine editor Amy Zavatto, food scholar Meryl Rosofsky, and winemaker Robin Epperson-McCarthy. For $50 (plus tax and tip), enjoy tastings of cocktails and dishes. You can also purchase a signed copy of the cookbook for an additional $80.

 

Hotel Indigo- Moms can enjoy a complimentary Bloody Mary or mimosa from the a la carte Mother’s Day brunch menu at the chic eatery in Hotel Indigo. The diverse food options cater to all tastes, including steak and eggs or pancakes topped with fresh berries or chocolate chips. There’s also a children’s menu featuring pancakes, French toast, and scrambled eggs, sure to please even the fussiest little diners.   

 

The Chequit- Head to Shelter Island for brunch on the patio adorned with hydrangeas, offering a delightful $48 prix fixe menu (with a $20 menu for kids under 12). Enjoy dishes like watermelon, watercress, peach, and ricotta salata salad, quiche with mushrooms, spinach, and gruyere, and savory shrimp and grits enhanced with smoked ham. Reservations are recommended.

 

A Mano- Celebrate Mother's Day Italian-style with a delectable three-course prix fixe menu from noon to 6 p.m. Highlights include seafood salad with citrus and Calabrian chili, creamy burrata, eggplant parm, tomato-basil crusted swordfish, and rich seafood tagliatelle. Cap off the meal with lemon ricotta cheesecake that will have mom feeling grateful all the way home.

 

The Birchwood- This cozy, tavern-style spot will host an indulgent brunch and dinner. Enjoy freshly made sushi, airy scrambled eggs, and beloved penne a la vodka as part of the brunch offerings. For dessert, a spectacular chocolate fountain awaits, along with an array of bread pudding, cheesecakes, fruits, cookies, and marshmallows. Seatings are 90 minutes, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and it’s BYOB—ready your own booster seat and highchair!

 

Vine Street CaféIndulge in a delightful Mother’s Day brunch at this picturesque Shelter Island café, featuring chilled lobster, Maryland crab cakes with seasonal asparagus, and more from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Menu highlights include biscuits and eggs Benedict with country ham, a beef burger with bacon, and miso-glazed salmon. There's also a children's menu offering chicken fingers and pasta options.

 

Windamere- Treat mom to a peaceful seaside brunch experience at Windamere. Dine from 10:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on dishes like red, white, and blue brioche French toast, NY strip steak with eggs, and spicy chorizo huevos rancheros. Prices are $39.95 for adults and $15.95 for kids under 12, with toddlers under four dining for free. Make sure to reserve your spot!

Love Lane Kitchen-  Classic brunch fare with North Fork charm. Their brioche French toast is a must.

Main Road Biscuit Co.- A rustic farmhouse vibe and the best buttermilk biscuits this side of the Hudson.

Jedediah Hawkins Inn-  A full-service brunch with champagne and elegant garden views.
