With the holiday season upon us, gift giving may seem a source of both excitement and anxiety to parents. Every year, new trends and necessities emerge, and we need to be up to date about what will blow our little ones’ minds. So these are my top 10 Christmas gifts that kids and parents will LOVE! And just for kicks, let’s take a walk down memory lane and see how these gifts stack up against our 90s faves.

Creating a mix tape was an art form in those days. Do you remember doing it? We created playlists for hours to express ourselves. (I am so nostalgic right now!) While cassette tapes are out of fashion, a yearning for intimacy only continued to increase, transforming into online media where teenagers upload and share their songs and experiences with just a few clicks.


It’s a bit daunting to think about when it comes to buying gifts. But, considering the evolution of toys and technology from the 1990s to today, it  allows us to see the transformation in how our kids play.
