Youth and Government
Registration is now open for The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau’s
“Youth and Government”
Program sponsored by the Alliance of NYS YMCAs. Students in grades 9 - 12 will have the opportunity to develop their own bills to amend legislation as well as discuss and debate issues that affect citizens of New York State. The program will culminate in a three-day statewide conference in Albany where students will deliberate in the chambers of the NYS Legislature.
The Southampton Youth Bureau’s Youth & Government program begins Wednesday, October 16th .
Meetings will be held every other Wednesday from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Avenue.
