Third Annual Pickleball Tournament to Benefit Southold Historical Museum

Southold, NY

Returning with a bang is the Southold Historical Museum's Pickleball Tournament. Since its inception in 2022, this unique fundraising event has infused the Museum with a fresh wave of energy and enthusiasm. A fusion of tennis and racquetball, pickleball is a sport that transcends age barriers, making it a perfect choice for everyone. On June 1 at 9 am, we invite you to join us, get active, enjoy the outdoors, and forge new friendships, all while lending your support to the Southold Historical Museum.

Intermediate and advanced players are encouraged to register for the June 1 event (rain date June 2), which takes place at the Southold Town pickleball courts at Tasker Park, 2580 Peconic Lane, Peconic, NY 11958. There are two tournaments to choose from.

The morning tournament runs from 9 am to noon and is change partner, round-robin format. The registration fee is $60 for the morning tournament. The morning tournament fills quickly, and the committee chair is now taking names for a waiting list. New this year is an afternoon, competitive tournament in a gender-blind, double-elimination format. The registration fee for the afternoon tournament, which begins at 12:30 pm, is $45. Both fees include a tournament t-shirt, gift bag, and refreshments. Due to a limited number of players, advanced registration is suggested to avoid being shut out.

Please visit www.southoldhistorical.org/upcoming to register or email info@southoldhistorical.org.

The Museum appreciates the support of numerous business sponsors, especially the Poliwoda Team of Douglas Elliman Real Estate and the Charles and Helen Reichert Foundation, and the many volunteers and donors working to bring the event together.
